I’m a student in the Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Technology programme at the University of Technology, Jamaica. My academic journey is driven by a strong interest in how people communicate, connect, and make meaning in an increasingly digital world. Prior to this programme, I studied law, sociology, and literature disciplines that strengthened my critical thinking and deepened my understanding of society, narrative, and human behaviour. Together, these experiences have equipped me with a nuanced awareness of the human condition and the confidence to trailblaze the path I am currently on.

At this stage of my journey, I have not yet specified a single area of focus within communication. Instead, I am intentionally equipping myself to be an all-rounder, developing skills across multiple communication fields. I am particularly drawn to visual storytelling, photography, digital media, and strategic communication, and I enjoy exploring how these areas intersect to create impactful messages. I approach my work with curiosity, adaptability, and intention, always seeking to expand my skill set and refine my voice as a communicator.

Professionally, I aspire to build a career within the communications and creative industries, where versatility, perspective, and innovation are valued. My goal is to contribute thoughtful, effective communication solutions while continuing to grow and evolve within the field. This portfolio represents my journey so far, a reflection of my experiences, developing skills, and commitment to purposeful communication as I work toward becoming a well-rounded and impactful professional.
